We Want to Give Away Thousands of Free Pro-life Buttons This Summer

How can a pro-life button save a life? I want to share two stories with you about how something as simple as a button or sticker can save a life.

In 1996, I met a woman in Wisconsin who told me about how God used a sticker to save her baby. She was on her way to an abortion mill to have an abortion and she asked God to show her a sign if she was not supposed to go through with the abortion. As she was about to turn into the abortion mill a car pulled in front of her with a bumper sticker on the back that read "Abortion Stops a Beating Heart". She read this sticker and drove right past the abortion mill and never went back. The person driving the car will never know that by putting that sticker on their car a person is alive today.

In 1998, I gave a pro-life sticker to a student at Loras College in Iowa. That student put the sticker on his folder that he took to class every day. Just a few days after having that sticker on his folder a girl approached him and told him because of seeing that sticker she canceled her abortion appointment.

We know that the designs and messages we put on our shirts, stickers and buttons are cool; but they also save lives. We want to give thousands of people the opportunity to spread the pro-life message and see lives saved.

The Free Pro-life Button Project : Stand True wants to give away thousands of buttons this summer with our "Abortion Stops a Beating Heart" logo. We are not going to just pass them out to everyone walking by, we want to get a commitment from people that they will wear this button as often as possible. If they will commit to us to wear this button, we will give it to them free.

How you can help make this happen: This is obviously going to cost money as we have to make thousands of buttons and get to all the festivals to give them away. This is where you can help us. We are asking you to donate to the free button project to guarantee that we can distribute thousands of buttons. For every dollar donated we will commit to giving out 4 buttons, that is only .25 cents a button. Are you willing to help collect spare change from your family and friends to make sure we can give out these buttons?

1. Collect spare change from family and friends and donate it towards Free Pro-life Button Project.

2. Tell your friends about the project and ask them to donate $1 towards the Free Pro-life Button Project.

3. Get your friends together and do a fundraiser like a car wash, bake sale or walk-athon and donate the money towards the Free Pro-life Button Project.

4. Get your friends to join you in giving up one meal out or one latte and use the money you would have spent to donate towards the Free Pro-life Button Project.

5. Do you have a birthday coming up? Ask your relatives to make a donation to the Free Pro-life Button Project instead of a gift.
